By providing meaningful and timely information, Triacta helps businesses and organizations better manage their electricity costs and consumption. Triacta integrates telecommunications technology with submetering equipment to make the process of submetering simple and cost effective. While traditional submeters often require time consuming and costly hook-ups, Triacta submeters are easily "plugged" into the main electrical feed - saving time and reducing rewiring costs. To transmit data, Triacta submeters communicate over an existing wireless or other network or over a regular phone line - without the need for a dedicated connection. Triacta is one of only a handful of manufacturers that can meet all Ontario Energy Board (OEB) specifications for smart meters. Smart metering in condominiums requires the use of a submeter.
